THE SEPTEMBER PROJECT
JANUARY 2024
After four months of development, The September Project, a new comedy written by John Viggiano, received its first reading at Cre8ive Studios in New York City on January 26, 2024. The project is continuing its development and aiming for a second reading in Spring of 2024.
HOMESTEAD HAUNT
September - October 2023
John made his professional directorial and writing debut with Homestead Haunt: The Swamp, a haunted theatrical experience in Central, FL. The project was a first year haunt that ran for twenty performances over four weeks to rave reviews.
BARBIE (The Unauthorized Musical Workshop)
JULY-AUGUST 2023
Through the Broadway Dreams Foundation, John has been developing the book along with co-writer and collaborator Spencer Liff to “The Unauthorized Barbie Musical” across the country. Debuted in Los Angeles, it has had two readings through BDF.
MSC SEASHORE - Deuling Pianos
MAY 2023
John spent three weeks in the Mediterranean as a Guest Entertainer performing Dueling Pianos on the MSC Seashore.

JANUARY 2023
John had the amazing opportunity to workshop and develop the new Marshall Pailet musical Private Gomer Jones here in NYC for the Signature Theatre in January.

With music, lyrics, and book by Danny Feldman, John got to originate the role of Charles in the first fully staged production of the new musical Hide & Seek at Rider University.

John was seen as the role of PETER PAN in Rider University’s production of Pete (Her) Pan: A New Musical. Directed by Deidre Goodwin, Book by Melvin Tunstall III, Music by Michael Thurber and Douglas Lyons, Lyrics by Douglas Lyons.

John had the opportunity to workshop the new musical A Girl and a Boy Dance in just six days with book, music, and lyrics by Marshall Pailet through Broadway Dreams over the summer of 2021.
