New York City based artist and creator John Viggiano has performed and created all across the country, and the world, from Kansas, to New York, to Italy.

As a multi-hyphenate, he has created a robust start to his professional career after his graduation from Rider University with a BFA in Musical Theatre in Spring of 2022. Notable credits include the workshop of Private Jones for Signature Theatre (u/s Gomer Jones), as well 42nd Street, Kinky Boots, Wizard of Oz, The Drowsy Chaperone, and the Live Holiday Special at MTWichita. He has also performed as a singer/pianist on board the MSC Seashore as a Guest Dueling Pianist and makes music whenever and wherever he can.

John is also beginning his professional directing and writing career after his most recent summer tour with the international arts education nonprofit program Broadway Dreams. Collaborating with seasoned creators in the industry, for which he has written several projects. While performing is and will always be his passion, creating new works in the medium of theatre that leave an impact on the community is his mission. When not making art, you’ll find John in nature, exploring, and getting inspired from observing different people and places.
